Hanover, PA (May 16, 2022) – The World of Outlaws made their first trip of 2022 to Central PA this past week. The first of three scheduled races came at Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday night. A season high 55 cars signed in for the Gettysburg Clash. Norris qualified 20th quick in his group with a lap time of 13.481 seconds, securing him a spot in a heat race. Dylan lined up 10th for the start of his heat race and finished 7th, lining him up 9th for that start of the Last Chance Showdown. Norris finished 5th in the Last Chance Showdown, one spot shy of qualifying for the feature. Dylan and the Gobrecht Motorsports team used a provisional to start 26th in the 35 lap feature. Norris drove through the field and advanced 10 spots, finishing 16th.

Friday Night at Williams Grove the 41 car field only saw the track for hot laps before Mother Nature dropped enough rain on the track to cancel the show.

Dylan and the team returned to the Grove on Saturday Night to compete with the World of Outlaws for the Morgan Cup. Norris qualified 15th in his time trial flight with a lap time of 17.093 seconds. Norris started 8th in his heat race and finished 9th which would line him up 13th for the Last Chance Showdown. Dylan finished 13th in the Last Chance Showdown and would use another provisional to start 25th in the feature. Norris pulled in on lap 20 and was scored 21st.

UP NEXT:

Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team will be back in action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 20 at 7:30PM. The team will also be at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, May 21 with racing scheduled to start at 7:30PM. The final stop on this three-day race weekend will be Path Valley Speedway on Sunday, May 22 for their only 410 sprint car show of the season. Warm ups are scheduled for 6PM.
