Hanover, PA (June 13, 2022) – Dylan Norris started his weekend strong with a fifth place finish at Williams Grove on Friday night. Norris was the fastest car in his warm-up group, putting down a lap of 17.441 seconds. With the 0 invert pill pulled Dylan lined up on the pole of the third heat race. Norris won his heat and lined up sixth for the start of the feature. Dylan ran fourth for the first half of the feature before getting passed by Devon Borden on lap 13. Norris would cross the line fifth; his third top five of the season at the Grove.
The Fallen Firefighters Memorial race at Lincoln had a field of 33-cars on Saturday night. Norris timed third quick with a lap of 13.251 seconds, lining him up fourth for his heat race. Dylan qualified for the feature through his heat with a fourth place finish, putting him in the redraw for the feature line-up. Norris drew the 4 pill and would run third for the first 10 laps of the 33-lap feature. Norris had fallen back to sixth when he brought out the caution after stopping in turn 3 on lap 25. The yellow turned to a red when Riley Emig crashed into the back of Norris as he sat in turn 3. Both drivers were ok, but Norris’ night was over.
UP NEXT: The team will return to action at Selinsgrove Speedway on Thursday, June 16 at 7:30PM. Then it is off to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 17 at 7:30PM. Dylan will also be at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 18 for the $5,000 to win Freedom Off-Road Speedweek Tune-up scheduled for 7:30PM.
