Hanover, PA (November 1, 2022) – Dylan Norris made the trip east to New Jersey this past weekend to Bridgeport Motorsports Park for their SprintOberfrest. Norris got behind the wheel of Mark VanVorst’s #34 360 sprint car to compete with the URC Sprint Series. Dylan started Saturday night timing eight quick in his time trial group with a lap time of 14.903 seconds. Norris started ninth in the 15-lap qualifier and ran eighth for the entire race.
On Sunday Dylan lined up fifteenth for the start of the 40-lap URC feature. Norris fell back to eighteenth at the start of the race and would get to the checkered flag in fourteenth and was scored one lap down.
Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team are now heading south to compete against the World of Outlaws one last time in 2022 at the World Finals in Charlotte. It will be Dylan’s first trip to compete in the event.
