Hanover, PA (April 9, 2022) – Friday Night at Williams Grove fell victim to Mother Nature yet again which means Norris still sits at the top of the point standings.
Saturday night a stout field of 43 cars competed in the $6,900 to win Weldon Sterner Memorial at Lincoln Speedway. Norris went out in the second flight for time trials and ended up second quick in his flight and was seventh quick overall. Following the PA Speedweek format, Norris lined up fourth for his heat race. As the fastest car in his heat, Norris would make the redraw as long as he qualified for the feature by finishing fifth or better. Dylan earned a spot in the redraw and the feature with a fourth place finish in his heat.
Norris drew the fourth starting spot for the 35-lap feature. Dylan ran fourth for the first four laps and fell back to fifth after getting passed by Freddie Rahmer. Unfortunately Norris kept going the wrong way and would finish the feature in eighth place. Dylan sits seventh in the Lincoln Speedway championship point standings.
The Gobrecht Motorsports team was ready to race on Sunday at BAPS Motor Speedway on 410 Day, April 10th, but with cooler than expected temperatures and additional precipitation the race was canceled.

Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team will be back in action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 15 at 7:30PM for the Spring Sprint Special. The team will also be at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 16 for the Golf Cart Services Night with racing scheduled to start at 7PM.
