Hanover, PA (April 25, 2022) – Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team embarked on a four-race weekend that started with taking on the All Star Circuit of Champions for two nights. The first stop was the Bloomsburg Fair Raceway which saw a field of 28 cars for the first 410 winged sprint car race at the reworked track. Norris timed 11th quick with a lap of 13.486 seconds which lined him up third for his heat race. Dylan finished fourth transferring him to the feature. Norris started 11th in the 30-lap feature and stayed there until a caution came out on lap 10. Dylan restarted 10th and got by All Star regular, Hunter Schuerenberg for 9th on lap 26. Norris would finish ninth, his first top 10 competing against the All Stars.
On Friday night Norris was once again in action with the All Stars, this time with a field of 41 cars on hand. Dylan timed 12th quick with a lap time of 17.278 seconds. Norris lined up second for the start of his heat and won, earning him a spot in the redraw. Dylan lined up 8th for the 30-lap feature, running as high as sixth early in the race. Norris finished 8th and still sits at the top of the season championship point standings ahead of Anthony Macri.
Norris competed at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday for Gene Latta Ford Wheel of Fortune Night with a field of 30 cars. The handicapping system had Norris start his heat 7th and he would finish 5th, putting him in the feature event. Dylan would line up 18th for the 30-lap feature. Norris battled with Tim Glatfelter for 13th towards the end of the race and would take the spot with five laps to go and finish there. Norris is tied for fifth in the season championship point standings with Devon Borden at Lincoln.
The four-race weekend ended at Selinsgrove on Sunday with the Ray Tilley Classic. Norris started the night timing 12th out of 16 cars with a lap of 16.673 seconds. Dylan would start 6th in his heat race and finish 5th. Norris earned hard charger honors in the feature driving from his 10th starting spot to finish 5th.
Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team will be back in action for three races this weekend starting at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 29 at 7:30PM. The team will also be at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 30 with racing scheduled to start at 7:30PM. The final race of the weekend for the team is the Kevin Gobrecht Classic at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 1 with racing scheduled for 6PM.
