Hanover, PA (May 30, 2023) – The All Star Circuit of Champions made their first trip to Central PA this past weekend and Dylan Norris started off their PA visit showing them how strong the Posse is by setting overall quick time on Friday night, “Setting quick time in our group was solid, but setting quick time overall was definitely a confidence booster and something to be proud of.” After setting quick time, Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team made an engine swap before Dylan went out for his heat race where he finished fifth, putting himself in the redraw for the feature. Norris lined up fifth for the feature start and was running seventh through the middle of the race. Dylan would cross the line sixth, “The car was OK in the feature. We are still struggling a little bit when it slicks off towards the end of the race. I could roll the top fairly well when everyone else kind of migrated to the bottom.” Friday night was the only stop at Williams Grove for the All Star’s in 2023, “I love racing against the All Stars. Its kind of sad they are not in PA as much this year.”

Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway was a handicap show which had Dylan line up seventh for his heat race. Norris won the heat race, handicapping him at the front of the feature line-up, “We had a really good car and great track in the heat race and we were able to go from seventh to win the heat which was crucial to get us into the handicap considering almost all the fast guys missed the handicap.” From his seventh place starting spot in the 30-lap feature, Norris took the lead on lap 12. After a late-race restart, Norris got passed for the lead on lap 24 and would finish second, “We just needed to be a little better throughout the middle of the race. I got loose at the end and wasn’t able to run the top like I needed to keep the #8 car behind me.”
