Hanover, PA (July 17, 2023) – After last week, Dylan and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team were looking for a solid night at the track to get ready for the upcoming World of Outlaws visit to Central PA. The night started off with Norris driving from eighth to third in his heat race before slowing to a stop on the front stretch, “We had a torsion stop break on the front end and a clump of mud came up and broke the shifter.” Thankfully the issues were not related to what the team dealt with the week before.

With 24 cars on hand, Norris lined up 22nd for the start of the 30-lap feature. Dylan started his charge to the front of the field at the drop of the green and was up to 17th by lap 2. At the halfway point Norris was up to 14th. Dylan would cross the line eighth, earning him hard charger honors, “Our car was ok, I need to work on improving and the car could have been a little better.” It was quite the rebound after the misfortune in the heat race.

The World of Outlaws return to Central PA this week and their first stop is BAPS Motor Speedway. It will be the Outlaws first visit to the York Haven oval in over 30 years, which gives Dylan and the Posse an advantage in experience at the track, “I think it will definitely be different. Hopefully we can get ourselves time trialed well and put ourselves in a good spot for the whole night. We have been getting better with our car every time we have been at BAPS this year so hopefully we can continue that trend.”

After the stop at BAPS it is off to Williams Grove for two nights of the Summer Nationals, arguably the track where Norris feels the most comfortable.
