DYLAN NORRIS TRIUMPHANT AT WILLIAMS GROVE FOR FIRST CAREER 410 WIN
Hanover, PA (March 25, 2022) – Dylan Norris started Friday night with a heat race win, earning him a spot in the feature redraw. Norris started on the pole of heat race #2 and led all 10 laps. After drawing pill 11 out of 12 last week, Norris’ pill draw luck improved as he pulled the 1 to line up on the pole for the start of the 25-lap feature. Norris took the lead at the drop of the green flag and led the field into turn 1. Lap 1 saw the yellow flag wave, setting the field up for a single file restart. Norris Kicks of 2022 Williams Grove Season with a Top 5 Finish; Solid But Challenging Night at Lincoln
Hanover, PA (March 21, 2022) – Dylan Norris’ Friday night did not start out on a high note, but it ended with one of his best runs yet at the famous half-mile. Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team did an engine swap after blowing an engine in hot laps. Norris then battled a fuel leak during his heat race. Despite the fuel leak and not using the brakes as a precautionary measure, Norris still put down the fastest lap of the heat race and finished a solid second, putting him in the redraw. Dylan Norris Kick-Off 2022 Season at Lincoln and Port Royal
Hanover, PA (March 7, 2022) - Dylan Norris kicked-off his 2022 campaign at Lincoln Speedway with the Ice Breaker on February 27 competing in a field of 34 cars. Norris started off the season making the feature redraw with a second-place finish in his heat race. Norris drew a five for the 30-lap feature but ended up with a DNF after contact with the wall in turn 4 on lap 26. The Gobrecht Motorsports team was back in action for their first two-race weekend of the season. They kicked things off in the pigeon hills Saturday afternoon with 41 sprint cars pit-side. Norris put on an impressive display in his heat race, battling with Tyler Ross for the top spot for most of the 10-laps. Dylan Norris has solid run at BAPS Motor Speedway
The Gobrecht Motorsports team was in action at BAPS Motor Speedway on May 2 for the Select Collision Center Kevin Gobrecht Classic. As a tribute to Kevin the team did a throw back paint scheme to a car Kevin an in 1995. Dylan qualified 19th out of the 28 cars on hand for the event. In heat race 2 Dylan started 6th place moved forward a few spots and then ended up in 6th place. In the feature he started 17th and finished 5th earning the hard charger. Icebreaker 30 at Lincoln Speedway
Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports 44 started the day off good by picking up the heat race win in the 3rd heat race. Dylan said "It felt good to get back to racing yesterday with the Icebreaker 30 at Lincoln Speedway". The team was not as fortunate in the redraw for starting position for the feature and ended up starting 9th in the feature. Early in the feature Dylan pulled a wheel stand and ended up bending some of the steering components which resulted in a 16th place finish in the event.
