Hanover, PA (September 26, 2022) – Friday night Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team were at Williams Grove for their Outlaw Tune-up to prepare for this coming weekend’s National Open. Norris made the Friday night show in 2021 but failed to qualify for Saturday’s $75,000 to win feature. With one win at the famous ½-mile in 2022, and a battle for the track championship, Norris is looking to close out the season at Williams Grove with a start in Saturday’s National Open.

On Friday Norris timed seventh quick out of 19 cars with a lap of 16.962 seconds. Norris started third in his heat and finished third. Dylan’s heat race finish lined him up seventh for the start of the 25-lap feature. Norris ran fifth for most of the feature but had a tire going flat when the red flag came out with two laps to go. The Gobrecht Motorsports Team changed the tire and Dylan rejoined the field sixth. Dylan would take the checkered sixth and sits third in the season point standings going into the final weekend of racing.

Originally slated to run the National Open at Selinsgrove on Saturday, Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team opted to forgo the trip north due to an engine issue.

UP NEXT: Friday, September 30 at Williams Grove Speedway at 7:30PM; Saturday, October 1 at Williams Grove Speedway at 7:30PM

SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT: Triple X Triple X’s mission is to supply valued customers with unsurpassed quality racing parts at an exceptional price to make auto racing safe, more competitive and less cost prohibitive. They’re so committed to our mission and values, that they embedded it into their company name and moto.  The 3 X’s remind them every day what we are accomplishing …

for eXtreme motorsports

By adhering to their mission, they treat their customers with honesty and respect.  Their goal is satisfied customers.  It’s why they don’t want you to run their part if you are not completely satisfied with its quality … guaranteed.

The same mission statement dictates that they manufacture with a level of quality unheard of throughout the racing market place.  Every part is built to exacting tolerances, with strictly defined procedures and standards.  Every part fits exactly the same, even if it is a nerf bar.  They don’t machine or weld anything up in their backyard.  They don’t buy it from some guy down the street.  They know that would not produce parts worthy of your or their race cars.

Bottom line.  They want you to put your kids through college, take the wife out for dinner on Sunday night, pay the mortgage, whatever it is you like to do … and still do what you love; race.  With Triple X, you can buy the crew a steak on the way to the track, instead of a hamburger.  And run just as fast and safe as with other companies more expensive parts.
