Hanover, PA (July 11, 2022) – After a few days off it was right back to business for Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team on Friday at Williams Grove Speedway. Norris drove from eighth to second in his heat race which lined him up fifth for the 25-lap feature. Norris ran as high as third but would finish fourth after a late race pass. Dylan’s fourth place finish was good enough to maintain his point lead at the famous paper clip.
While Norris still notched another top 10 on Saturday at Lincoln, it was not smooth sailing for the young driver. With 30 cars on hand Dylan was the second fastest car in time trials with a lap of 13.044 seconds. Norris was running in a qualifying spot in his heat race when his left rear tire blew on the front stretch. Dylan and the team made repairs and replaced the tire in time for the B-main, which Norris would dominate, winning by nearly 6 seconds. Norris lined up 19th for the 30-lap feature and drove through the field to an eighth place finish, earning him the hard charger award, which was $100 cash and a pizza thanks to the night’s sponsor, L&M Tire and Wheel.
UP NEXT: The team will compete at Williams Grove on Friday, July 15 at 7:30PM and then will return to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, July 16 where racing starts at 7:30PM
