Hanover, PA (July 18, 2022) – Mother Nature forced another rain shortened weekend of racing in Central PA. Williams Grove got their Outlaw Tune-up show in on Friday night and Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team were on hand to compete and get ready for the Summer Nationals.
Dylan timed third quick out of the 21 cars with a lap of 17.538 seconds. Norris lined up on the pole of his heat and won, earning him a spot in the dash redraw. Dylan drew the 5 and ended up fourth at the end of the 6-lap dash. Norris ran fourth for the first 5 laps of the 25-lap feature and then moved up to third for a majority of the race. Troy Wagaman passed Dylan for third with two laps to go. Norris crossed the line fourth and relinquished his point lead at the track to Freddie Rahmer who finished second. Rahmer now leads the point standings by 10 over Norris.
Saturday at Lincoln Speedway was lost to Mother Nature. Norris currently sits fourth in the point standings at Lincoln.
UP NEXT: The team will compete against the World of Outlaws at Williams Grove in the Summer Nationals. The Summer Nationals are a two-day show Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23 with both nights starting at 7:30PM.
