Hanover, PA (August 22, 2022) – Despite some challenges Dylan and the Gobrecht Motorsports team put together a solid three-race weekend ahead of another visit from the All Star Circuit of Champions.

Friday night at Williams Grove Norris lined up ninth for his heat but did not make it very far before getting together with Lance Dewease when the green flagged drop. The #44 had extensive damage, needing a new front wing, top wing, front axle, rear axle and tail tank among many other things. Thankfully, with the help of Chad Trout, Trout’s crew and other fellow drivers, Dylan made it out for the start of the feature. Norris lined up 16th for the feature and was running 11th when he stopped on the track bringing out the caution. The team looked over the car and Norris rejoined the field. Dylan drove back up to finish 11th. In addition to competing on Friday, Norris was celebrating his 19th birthday.

Saturday night at Lincoln Norris started seventh in his heat and finished fourth, putting him in the $5,000 to win Barry Skelly Memorial. Dylan lined up 13th for the drop of the green flag and was up to 10th by lap 10. With 7 laps to go Norris was in the top five and with five laps to go he was up to fourth. Dylan finished fourth, advancing nine positions.

The Gobrecht Motorsports team made their first trip to the Action Track at Kutztown on Sunday for the ImPOSSEible Race. The heats were lined up based on timed hot laps and unfortunately the Gobrecht Motorsports #44 would not run correctly during hot laps. After and engine change Dylan made it out for his heat race where he started sixth and finished fifth. Norris lined up 13th for the feature and drove up to finish 9th, ending the weekend with his second consecutive top 10.

UP NEXT: The team will return to Williams Grove this Friday, August 26 at 7:30PM for the Jack Gunn Memorial Twin 20s with the All Stars. Also on the schedule this weekend is Lincoln Speedway and the Kramer Klash, another All Star race, on Saturday, August 27 with racing at 7:30PM. The final race of the weekend will be with the All Stars at Bedford Speedway on Sunday, August 28 at 6:30PM.
