Hanover, PA (October 10, 2022) – Moved from it’s original date of Tuesday to Thursday due to Hurricane Ian, Dylan Norris competed in the Brian Montieth Classic at Lincoln Speedway. Norris timed fifth quickest out of the 36-car field with a lap time of 13.373 seconds. Using the PA Speedweek format, Norris lined up on the pole of his heat and would win, putting him in the redraw. Dylan drew the three for the 35-lap feature. Norris ran fifth at the start of the race and fell back as far as ninth and crossed the line eighth. With his eighth place finish, Norris sits second in the season point standings going into the final race of the season.
On Saturday night Norris was back at Lincoln Speedway to wheel Mark VanVorst’s 358 sprint car for the second time this season. Dylan was scheduled to start second in his heat race but was moved to the pole when the original pole-sitter elected to start at the rear. Norris won his heat race and would line up ninth for the start of the 20-lap feature. Dylan made a last lap pass to cross the line tenth.
