Hanover, PA (March 6, 2023) – Lincoln held it’s final daytime race of the season on Saturday afternoon and Dylan and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team were on hand looking to capitalize on a strong opening weekend. A high pill draw lined Norris up seventh for his heat race on a dry track and seventh is where he would finish, just one spot shy of qualifying for the feature. Dylan started third in the B-main and finished second earning him the 20th starting spot for the 30-lap feature. Norris had worked his way up to 13th by lap 10 and would cross the line 11th. After three races Dylan sits seventh in the overall point standings at Lincoln. Sunday afternoon Norris and the team made the trip north to Port Royal for their season opener for the second year in a row. Norris drew the pole of his heat race and held off a late charge by Lance Dewease to take the heat race win putting him in the redraw for the feature line-up. Dylan lined up seventh and ran inside the top 10 until lap 15 where he fell back to 11th which is where he would finish for the second day in a row. The 11th place finish was a vast improvement over last year’s DNQ in the season opener, showing just how far Dylan and the team have come in the past year.
