Hanover, PA (March 27, 2023) – In what can only be described as a tough weekend of racing in Central PA that went from one extreme to another, Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team put their heads down and came out on the other side unscathed with two top 10 finishes. Mother Nature delayed another attempt at the Williams Grove season opener on Friday night and it looked like she might get the best of Lincoln on Saturday but the promoters decided to give the drivers a chance to race. Hanover, PA (March 20, 2023) – After getting rained out at Port Royal and Williams Grove, the first round of the 2023 version of the World of Outlaws vs. the PA Posse took place at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. With cold weather forecasted the start time was moved up an hour to 5PM which meant time trials and the heat races took place on what was essentially a day time surface. With 49 cars on hand, Dylan went out 21st in the first flight of time trials. Norris had an ignition problem in warm ups that continued into time trials where he put down a lap time of 14.918, placing him 24th quickest in his flight. Hanover, PA (March 6, 2023) – Lincoln held it’s final daytime race of the season on Saturday afternoon and Dylan and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team were on hand looking to capitalize on a strong opening weekend. A high pill draw lined Norris up seventh for his heat race on a dry track and seventh is where he would finish, just one spot shy of qualifying for the feature. Dylan started third in the B-main and finished second earning him the 20th starting spot for the 30-lap feature. Norris had worked his way up to 13th by lap 10 and would cross the line 11th. Hanover, PA – Lincoln Speedway took advantage of a 75 degree day in February and moved the 2023 Ice Breaker from Saturday to Thursday. Dylan and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team were there to kick off the 2023 season in front of packed crowd. Dylan started seventh and finished seventh in his heat on Thursday night. His heat race finish lined him up 19th for the 30-lap feature. Norris worked his way through the field to finish 12th which earned him hard charger honors. “I felt really good Thursday, our car had speed all night we just got buried with a bad pill draw and a narrow race track.” Despite being in traffic for most of the feature, Norris put down the fourth fastest lap of the feature. Hanover, PA (November 15, 2022) – The 410 sprint car season in Central PA came to an end on Saturday at BAPS Motor Speedway and Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team were in attendance to cap off their breakout season. Norris timed sixth quickest in his hot lap group with a lap of 14.638 seconds which lined him up sixth for the start of his heat race. Dylan pulled in after one lap of his heat race was completed. With 20 cars, no B-main was needed and Dylan lined up 18th for the start of the feature. Norris was up to eighth and was battling Riley Emig for seventh when the two spun out on lap 19 bringing out the caution. Hanover, PA (November 7, 2022) – Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team made their first trip to the Dirt Track at Charlotte for the final weekend of racing on the World of Outlaws schedule. The action started Wednesday night with Dylan timing 18th quick in his flight with a lap time of 13.191 seconds. Norris lined up ninth for his heat race and that is where he would finish putting him 17th in the Last Chance Showdown. Dylan would end his first night in Charlotte with a 15th place finish in the Last Chance Showdown. Friday night Norris once again timed 18th quick in his flight, this time with a lap of 13.182.
