Hanover, PA (June 29, 2022) – The first half of Speedweek is in the books, and Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team kicked things off on Night #1 at Williams Grove with a sixth place finish. Norris timed 11th quick out of 29 cars on hand with a lap of 17.046 seconds. Dylan would go on to finish third in his heat, lining him up 11th for the start of the 30-lap feature. Norris currently sits second in the season point standings at Williams Grove. On Night #2 Speedweek moved to Lincoln Speedway where 47 cars signed in to compete in the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial. Hanover, PA (June 13, 2022) – Dylan Norris started his weekend strong with a fifth place finish at Williams Grove on Friday night. Norris was the fastest car in his warm-up group, putting down a lap of 17.441 seconds. With the 0 invert pill pulled Dylan lined up on the pole of the third heat race. Norris won his heat and lined up sixth for the start of the feature. Dylan ran fourth for the first half of the feature before getting passed by Devon Borden on lap 13. Norris would cross the line fifth; his third top five of the season at the Grove. The Fallen Firefighters Memorial race at Lincoln had a field of 33-cars on Saturday night. Hanover, PA (June 6, 2022) – What was set to be a four-race weekend was shortened to three races with the Greg Hodnett Foundation Race slated for Thursday at BAPS Motor Speedway getting rained out. That meant Dylan started the weekend at Williams Grove on Friday night. Norris lined up fifth in his heat and finished fourth, lining him up 12th for the start of the 25-lap feature. Dylan would initially drop back to 13th at the start but worked his way back up to 12th on lap 5 and then got by Chase Dietz for 11th on lap 9. Hanover, PA (May 30, 2022) – Memorial Day weekend started early for Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports team on Thursday at Selinsgrove Speedway. After timed hot laps for the 20 cars on hand, Norris lined up seventh for his heat race and he would finish seventh. Dylan would start the 25-lap feature 14th driving forward to finish 10th. “Selinsgrove was ok. It was good to end with a top 10 finish after struggling with a fast racetrack all night.” After the rough weekend before, the team had a bent car and a motor with a lot of races on it that they wanted to shake down, and everything worked well on Thursday night. Hanover, PA (May 23, 2022) – Dylan Norris showed speed both Friday night at the Grove and Saturday at Lincoln but got caught up in incidents on the track both nights. Thankfully Norris is ok after the rough weekend, ”I’m doing perfectly fine, just frustrated with two good runs taken away by wrecks that were out of our control.” Friday night was the first night Williams Grove used time trials in hot laps to set the heat line-ups for their Yellow Breeches series. Norris timed second quick in his group, and with the zero being pulled for the invert, that meant he lined up second for his heat race.
