Hanover, PA (June 20, 2023) – Norris was in action at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night for their PA Speedweek Tune-up. It was one last chance for Dylan and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team to work on things before embarking on the grueling Speedweek schedule of 10 races in 11 days. Saturday started with time trials where Norris timed 21st fastest out of 29 cars with a lap time of 15.874, “I just didn’t do a very good job in time trials and put us behind.” Dylan started seventh in his heat and finished seventh putting him in the B-main, “The track, the way it was and with us starting in the back, it was almost impossible to pass and move forward.” Norris lined up fourth for the B-main and finished third, qualifying him for the feature. Hanover, PA (June 13, 2023) – Norris put together another solid night at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday during the 2nd Annual Elijah Hawkins Memorial. With the PA Speedweek format being utilized, time trials started off the night with Dylan timing second quickest overall, “I felt a bad vibration in time trials, but the motor ran well and the car felt good and we were able to put down a good lap.” As the fastest car in his heat race, Norris lined up fourth and that is where he would finish. Dylan’s fourth place finish put him in the redraw for the feature, “We had a decent car in the heat race and I didn’t have to push too hard because I knew we had to finish in the top six to make the redraw.” Dylan redrew the five, which had him start fifth for the $7,000 to win 35-lap feature. Hanover, PA (June 6, 2023) – Norris’ three-race weekend started off strong on Thursday night with the young-gun setting quick time in his group at BAPS Motor Speedway which put him second quickest overall, “To start the night at BAPS we were great. Probably the best we’ve ever been at the track.” In his heat race Norris drove from fourth to second on a one lane dominate track, putting him in the redraw. Dylan started on the pole for the start of the feature and settled into second at the drop of the green. About 10 laps into the feature Norris’ night went from great to not so great, “Around lap 10 the throttle stuck ¾ of the way open and just kept getting tougher to control as the track slowed down.” The throttle issue ended up with Dylan hitting the wall in turn 2 with one lap to go, [...]

Hanover, PA (May 30, 2023) – The All Star Circuit of Champions made their first trip to Central PA this past weekend and Dylan Norris started off their PA visit showing them how strong the Posse is by setting overall quick time on Friday night, “Setting quick time in our group was solid, but setting quick time overall was definitely a confidence booster and something to be proud of.” After setting quick time, Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team made an engine swap before Dylan went out for his heat race where he finished fifth, putting himself in the redraw for the feature. Hanover, PA (May 22, 2023) – Dylan Norris parked the Gobrecht Motorsports Team #44 back in victory lane at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night, just a week shy of the anniversary of his first career win in the pigeon hills. The win came in between two solid top 10 finishes at Williams Grove and BAPS. Norris started the three-race weekend at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night. The format included timed hot laps where Dylan was fastest in his group, lining him up second for his heat race. Norris finished second in the heat and was handicapped into the second starting spot for the 25-lap feature, “Friday night was decent. Hanover, PA (May 15, 2023) – The World of Outlaws made their second trip of the year to Central PA to take on the PA Posse and Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team were ready. Norris started the week off timing second quickest in his time trial flight on Wednesday night at Lincoln with a lap of 13.865. Despite a torsion bar going bad in time trials his lap time still put him on the pole of his heat race. Norris took the lead when the green flag dropped for his heat race and held off Donny Schatz for seven laps. Norris would cross the line second in his heat, earning him a spot in the dash, “Being able to get into the dash and putting down a good qualifying lap got us off to a good start.” Norris drew the three pill for the dash and would finish sixth.
