Dietrich Wires For Williams Grove Kimmel Win, Norris Comes From 13th To Win Dirty Deeds 25
Mechanicsburg – Danny Dietrich wired the field to win the Billy Kimmel Memorial for Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night. Dietrich’s third win of the season at the track was worth $6,000 and it extended his point lead in the 2024 Hoosier Diamond Series at the oval. In the Dirty Deeds 25 for the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints, Hanover’s Dylan Norris took the win after getting by Justin Foster mid-race for the $3,000 paycheck. Norris picks up the win at PPMS
After numerous rainouts at Dirt’s Monster Half Mile, Mother Nature finally decided to be kind to us. The fastest cars on dirt would roll into town on Thursday evening for night number two of Western PA Sprint Speedweek featuring the top sprint car drivers from across the region. PPMS would see qualifying, nine heat races, two b mains, and three feature events. Dylan Norris (17), from Hanover, would outpace a record-setting field of 410 Winged Sprint Cars to pick up the win in the 20-lap sprint feature. Jonathan Taylor (5) would win the 25-lap feature for the Elite Motorsports UEMS Modified Series, and Logan Koteles (64K), from Stockdale, would pick up the win for the Fuel Required Hobby Stocks. Norris goes from 14th to victory in 358 sprints
Mechanicsburg – Anthony Macri drove from 17th to the win in the 25-lap Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car feature at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night. The Dillsburg driver pocketed $6,000 for his second win of the year at the track including a $500 bonus from WC Eshenaur for making a last lap pass for the win. In the 20-lap HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprint main, Dylan Norris jetted from 14th to the victory to open the season for the division at Williams Grove. Mike Walter II., started on the pole of the 410 sprint main and was leading over Ryan Wilson when Steve Buckwalter stopped on the third tour. BUSY WEEK FOR DYLAN NORRIS LEADS TO NEW EXPERINCES
Hanover, PA (August 9, 2023) – What was scheduled to be a one-race week, turned into three races for Dylan Norris. Things kicked off on Tuesday with Norris making his High Limit Series debut at Kokomo in Rocky Anderson’s #19. Dylan timed 23rd quickest out of 31 cars with a lap time of 11.530 seconds. Norris started sixth in his heat race and finished seventh, missing the feature and putting him in the B-main. Dylan lined up eighth for the B-main and would drive his way to fourth, qualifying him for the 35-lap feature in his first trip to Kokomo. Starting from the rear of the field, Norris was up to 15th when he spun out bringing out the caution on lap 7. Hanover, PA (July 31, 2023) – It was a one race weekend for Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team as they competed on Saturday Night at Lincoln Speedway in the Rack Daddies Rumble. Utilizing the handicap format, Dylan started ninth in his heat and would finish sixth, putting him in the $7,000 to win feature. Norris missed a spot in the Australian Scramble for the top 12 starting spots and would line up seventeenth for the 35-lap feature. Hanover, PA (July 24, 2023) – Dylan Norris and the Gobrecht Motorsports Team were on hand for the World of Outlaws return to BAPS Motor Speedway after a 30 year hiatus on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, the skies opened up after time trials and teams and fans would have to wait another night for racing action. Everything reset on Thursday night and Dylan went out and was third quickest overall with a lap time of 15.116 seconds.
